Why Should You Choose Us?

Here at Earthmovers Inc, we are one of the only dumpsites in the Fairfield/Litchfield/New Haven counties that are state and city approved. Unlike some other dumpsites, we accept a variety of different materials including all earth, concrete (such as leftovers from concrete flatwork) and bituminous products. 

After a big project, the last thing you want to do is worry about cleaning up the remaining materials, so let us do it!

Recycling of Materials

Whether it’s concrete or asphalt, it can be recycled at Earthmovers Inc. Therefore we can use our equipment, such as our portable crushers and two screening plants, to crush and separate any concrete you have left over from old stairs, sidewalks or even buildings. By recycling your old concrete, you can aid in the preservation of landfill as well as reducing the use of raw materials.

On the other hand, asphalt is recyclable and with our equipment, can be turned into reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). Asphalt typically comes from the removal of driveways, parking lots and roadways.

Materials We Accept

The materials that we accept include Clean Rock, Stone, Gravel, Concrete Block, Concrete and Bituminous Concrete (asphalt). We do not accept any Hazardous Wastes, Oils, Chemicals, Wood, Steel or Plastic Pipe.

For any material you would like to drop off, a Certificate of Conformity will need to be filled out and signed.

Material Dumping Fees

All materials that we accept will be charged a flat rate of $6.50 per Cubic yard, plus applicable tax. The yardage will be based on the figure below; any adjustment to quantities will be made by the yard supervisor on an individual basis.

Earthmovers reserve the right to refuse any load at any time per the discretion of an EMI employee.
