Our 27-acre material yard and facilities are located at 21 Old Sherman Turnpike in Danbury, CT. At your convenience, we can deliver the materials to your address, or you can pick-up from our processing yard and recycling facility. We offer unscreened topsoil for leveling or filling the low lying areas on your property and screened topsoil for use in gardening, lawn preparation, and similar projects.

Asphalt Millings 

Our materials yard offers DOT-approved, high-grade asphalt millings to use for asphalt paving and roadway construction.

Crushed Stone

We offer many types of crushed stones including 3", 1 1/4", 3/4". Our team can help you choose the right stone for any of your projects.

Material Dumping For Derby

Earthmovers is proudly one of the only state and city-approved dump sites that serves the Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven counties and surrounding areas. Materials we accept are clean rock, stone, gravel, concrete block, concrete, and bituminous concrete (asphalt). Materials that will NOT be accepted for dumping include hazardous wastes, oils, chemicals, wood, steel, and plastic pipe.

We require a Certificate of Conformity to be completed before accepting any materials at our facility. We reserve the right to refuse any load at any time per the discretion of an EMI employee. All material types are charged a flat rate of $6.50 per cubic yard. The chart below displays the yardage and figures for dumping. Any adjustments to quantities will be determined by our yard supervisor or based on the individual.
